Borussia Dortmund vs. Arminia Bielefeld 3/13/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Borussia Dortmund is hosting Arminia Bielefeld at Signal Iduna Park in round 26 of the German Bundesliga. Borussia has been struggling, they got knocked out of Europe, and they have a ton of injuries right now. Arminia isn’t better at all, they have lost 3 of their last 4, and they are close to the relegation zone.

Borussia is still in second place in Bundesliga, 10 points behind Bayern, and I seriously doubt they will get any closer. As I’ve mentioned, Borussia has a lot of injuries, their defense is decimated, but they are getting Haaland back, and that might be enough. Even when healthy, Borussia’s defense is not great, but now that they are missing their starting defenders, it will be horrible. Haaland has scored 16 goals for Borussia, and he is their leading goalscorer. Reus has added 9 goals and 6 assists. Borussia can focus only on Bundesliga right now, and they better focus because Leverkusen is right behind them, and they are in danger of losing that second spot. Borussia has a lot of offensive talent, they can score goals, but that doesn’t mean much if they can’t defend, and they can’t.

Arminia might be above the relegation zone right now, but only by 1 point, and that is enough season left to be played for them to drop another spot or two. Arminia hasn’t scored a lot of goals, only 22 in 25 games, but they haven’t conceded a lot, and only because of that they are outside the relegation zone. Arminia has conceded 33 goals in 25 games. Okugawa has scored 8 goals for Borussia so far this season, while Wimmer has added 6 assists. Castro, Nilsson, and Ramos are all injured, and they will most likely miss this game. There is no easy game for Arminia, but some of their upcoming games are on the easier side, but I’m still not sure Arminia can win points in them.

Arminia hasn’t won any of their last 5 games against Borussia, while Borussia has not lost to Arminia in their last 7 home games. Yes, Borussia is the better team here, but with all the injuries they have, there could be trouble. I think Borussia will win, but I think they will concede at least 1 goal here.
