Ontario Douglas also added 43 rushing yards as well in the win. Gabe Douglas led Tarleton’s receiving corps with 126 receiving yards on 5 catches while Jaden Smith had a team-high 11 catches for 95 receiving yards with all 3 TD catches for the Texans in the win.
The TCU Horned Frogs will look to build on their 38-13 season-opening win over Colgate last time out. Kendre Miller leads the Horned Frogs with 52 rushing yards while four other Horned Frogs have at least 40 rushing yards as well this season. Savion Williams also had a team-high 3 catches for 31 yards for TCU. On defense, Dee Winters and Damonic Williams each have a sack as well this season.
TCU is 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 home games and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 games following a win.
I get the reasoning for backing Tarleton because this is a lot of points, but TCU had no problems running all over Colorado and I don’t see them having any issues trucking over the Texans here. I think this is one of those games where you could actually lay a big number with TCU and feel comfortable with is so give me the Horned Frogs laying the points.
