Los Angeles posted three runs in the sixth inning of the Tuesday opener and held on for a 5-2 win. On Wednesday the Angels were out-hit 10-5 in a 7-2 defeat. Starter Tucker Davidson put up 5.0 innings with three earned on five hits alongside three strikeouts.
As starter for the Thursday game, it’ll be LA’s Michael Lorenzen. In his 15 starts so far Lorenzen is 7-6 with a 4.74 ERA. Over 81.2 innings total he has 43 earned on 73 hits and 36 walks with 63 strikeouts.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on Texas. Perez is on a pretty decent run right now. He’s 2-1 in his last three games, giving up five earned in 18.1 combined innings on 21 hits and four walks during that stretch. As for Lorenzen, he’s posted four earned in 10.2 innings on seven hits and six walks during his last pair. If Perez can keep it going, this should be a golden opportunity for the Rangers to post a victory.
