The Vanderbilt Commodores and Ole Miss Rebels do battle Saturday in a week 6 SEC college football game from FirstBank Stadium.

The Ole Miss Rebels will look to stay unbeaten, sitting at 5-0 on the year after a 22-19 win over Kentucky last time out. I get the reasoning for backing a home underdog in spots, but Vanderbilt just can’t keep other teams from scoring and that’s not good news against an Ole Miss team that can not only score but has arguably one of their best defensive units in recent seasons and have a top-10 scoring defense to boot. I just think this is one of those games where Ole Miss wins by three scores so I’ll lay the points with the Rebels in what I see as a 38-17 kind of game.
