Abilene Christian started out the year with losses to Texas A&M, Wright State, Weber State, UC Riverside, Kansas State, Stephen F. Austin and Southern Utah in their first 16 games. The Wildcats are just 2-4 since then with wins over TX-Arlington and Utah Tech.
In the Utah Tech game on Saturday, Abilene Christian was down 40-38 by the break. The Wildcats fought back in the second with 43 points and secured the win 81-76. Ali Abdou Dibba was the top scorer with 19 points and five rebounds.

Over on the Seattle side, they lost to only Washington, Oregon State, Utah State and Iona in their first 16 games. The Redhawks are 4-2 since then with wins over New Mexico State, Utah Valley, Tarleton State and Southern Utah.
In the matchup versus Stephen F. Austin on Saturday, the Redhawks were outscored 38-32 in the first half. Seattle didn’t get any better on a 41-33 second-half deficit and lost 79-65. Cameron Tyson was the leading team scorer on 16 points.
ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll stay with Seattle in this one. The Redhawks didn’t play especially well on Saturday versus Stephen F. Austin, nor did they look great in the Sam Houston matchup last Thursday. That said, this will be an opportunity for Seattle to reorient themselves after posting just 105 combined points over those two games. Abilene Christian has scored pretty well over their last three outings, but the Wildcats also routinely give up big points totals to capable offenses on the other side. Seattle fall into that category, and I think the Redhawks will post an impressive outing here.
