The Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns duke it out in Game 5 at the Footprint Center on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers will be hoping to keep their season alive after getting routed by the Suns in a 112-100 loss in Game 4 on Saturday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 37 points, six rebounds and four assists on 17 of 29 shooting, Norman Powell added 14 points while Terance Mann chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot 43 percent from the field and 12 of 37 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 30 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, but they just couldn’t keep up with the Suns the rest of the way as Westbrook was the only Clippers player to really have a good scoring night. Norman Powell shot just four of 15 from the field while Marcus Morris scored just nine points on three of 13 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns will be looking to finish the job and move onto the second round after beating the Clippers in a 112-100 win in Game 4 on Saturday. Kevin Durant led the team with 31 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, Devin Booker added 30 points with nine rebounds and seven assists while Chris Paul tallied 19 points with nine assists, three steals and three blocks. As a team, the Suns shot 48 percent from the field and nine of 22 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they held the Clippers to just 17 points in the second quarter to take control, before they finished with a flurry to make it a double-digit win in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a loss of more than 10 points. The Suns are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 Conference Quarterfinals games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on two days rest.

Head to head, the over is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings overall and the over is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings in Phoenix.

The Clippers could be shorthanded once again as Paul George is still out and Kawhi Leonard is listed as day to day, while the Suns are still missing Cameron Payne. The Clippers got plenty of production out of Westbrook on Saturday, but it’s going to take more from everyone else to get the win, especially if Leonard isn’t able to return to the lineup. The Suns hold all the momentum, they are playing at home and the Clippers are only 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. The line is quite hefty, so while I like the Suns to get the win and advance, I think the Clippers do enough to keep this close in the end.
