The SK Wyverns and KT Wiz Suwon meet Tuesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The SK Wyverns have lost four of their last five games and just lost two of three games against the KIA Tigers. The SK Wyverns have produced a combined five runs and eight hits in their last two games and have scored four or less runs in five straight games. In their last effort, Kim Kang-min and Choi Jeong combined for three hits and four RBI while Lee Geon-wook allowed zero runs and two hits in five innings of work. The SK Wyverns have lost seven of their last 11 games overall.
The KT Wiz Suwon have lost eight of their last 10 games and just lost two of three games against the Samsung Lions. The KT Wiz Suwon are coming off a 12-0 shutout loss and have scored zero runs in 15 of their last 17 innings. In their last effort, Kim Min-hyeok and Bae Jeong-dae combined for four hits while So Hyeong-jun allowed seven runs and eight hits in 4.2 innings of work. The KT Wiz Suwon have lost 15 of their last 22 games overall.
The KT Wiz Suwon have won the last four meetings against the SK Wyverns and six of the last seven meetings overall. Seven of the last 10 meetings between the Wiz Suwon and Wyverns have produced single-digit run totals.
Both of these teams are coming off a horrible week and the offenses have had major issues for both sides. There’s not much of a reason to un to the window to bet either of these teams right now. With that said, the KT Wiz Suwon have been the slightly better team this season with the much more consistent offense overall. The KT Wiz Suwon have also won four straight games against the SK Wyverns, and they’re winning those games by an average of 3.75 runs. You have to go back to early August the last time the SK Wyverns beat the KT Wiz Suwon.
I’ll side with the KT Wiz Suwon to win the first game of this series.
