The Brewers scored twice in the sixth inning Monday during the opener, eventually powering out a 2-1 win. On Tuesday Milwaukee gave up seven runs in a three-inning span during a 7-2 loss. Starter Julio Teheran lasted 5.2 innings with all seven earned on seven hits.
For the starter gig on Wednesday it’ll be Wade Miley. In his 10 starts this year Miley is 5-2 with a 2.91 ERA and 31 Ks in 52.2 innings. Miley is 104-96 with a 4.09 ERA in 302 games (295 starts) over his career.
New York Mets
Over on the Mets’ side, they had an early lead Monday but only came up with three team hits in the end. On Tuesday New York out-hit Milwaukee 9-7. David Peterson lasted 6.0 clean frames with five hits and three walks.
It’ll be Kodai Senga in the start for the Mets Wednesday. In his 14 starts this year (the first 14 of his career) Senga is 6-5 with a 3.52 ERA and 93 strikeouts across 76.2 total frames.

As for Senga, he’s 0-2 in his last pair with six earned over 12.0 combined frames. On Tuesday Milwaukee had a rough stretch of innings in the middle of the game but otherwise the pitching was pretty solid. The Brewers will need to plate some more runs to be competitive in game three, though.
