They gave up a goal in the 13th minute, and they weren’t able to bounce back as they lost. They only had one shot on goal while they allowed the Netherlands to have five shots on goal. Carole Costa and Diana Gomes are both going to start in the defense, and both are going to really need to step up here. There is really no reason they should give up a goal here, and if they were to let Vietnam keep this game close, that would be a major disappointment.

On the other side of this matchup is Vietnam who is tied for 3rd place in the group standings having picked up zero points. Vietnam faced off against the United States in the first game of the FIFA World Cup Tournament, and they were defeated 3-0. They had 34 percent of the possession and zero shots on target. The defense did gave up three goals but they actually didn’t play that bad considering they were facing off against the United States. Thu Thuong Luong Thi, Thi Dem My Le and Thu Tran Thi are all going to start for the defense here, and they are going to need to step up. They are probably going to need to pitch a shutout, if they are going to want to secure the win.

This total is too high. Vietnam’s offense isn’t going to get any type of offense going here, and they will be shutout. I also think Portugal is going to score a goal or two, but Vietnam’s defense is going to step up, and not let this be a game where there are four or five goals given up. The total si set at 3.5 goals, but I think that is even too high, and you can get value, going even lower than that. Back the under 2.5 goals.
