Kel’el Ware leads the Hoosiers in scoring and rebounding with 17.7 PPG and 9.6 RPG, while Malik Reneau has 14.7 PPG with 4.4 RPG and 3.1 APG. Xavier Johnson has 10.5 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Indiana so far this season. Trey Galloway has 9.1 PPG with a team-high 3.4 APG to lead the Hoosiers in the assist department as well on the year. As a team, Indiana is averaging 73.6 PPG on 50.1% shooting from the field, 25% from three and 69.1% shooting from the foul line this season. Michigan Wolverines Team Preview

The Michigan Wolverines come into this one looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses after an 86-83 OT loss to Oregon last time out. Dug McDaniel leads the Wolverines in scoring and assists with 20.2 PPG along with 5.2 APG while Olivier Nkamhoua has 16.9 PPG with a team-high 7 RPG and 2.9 APG to lead the Wolverines on the glass this season. Terrance Williams II has 10.9 PPG with 4.8 RPG and Nimari Burnett has 10 PPG and 5 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Michigan up to this point in the year. As a team, Michigan is averaging 82 PPG on 49.6% shooting from the field, 38.2% from three and 65.3% from the foul line this season.

Indiana vs. Michigan Prediction

I’m going to back Indiana and the points here. I get why the Wolverines would be favored at home, but I honestly think that the Hoosiers are the better team here and all Michigan has done so far to this point is disappoint. This to me just feels like a tight conference matchup between two teams that don’t really like each other all that much, and as such, I’m taking a shot on Indiana and the points here.
