The Indiana Pacers have been in fine form as they were on a four-game win streak, before they got stopped in their tracks by the Lakers in a 123-109 loss on Saturday. Tyrese Haliburton led the team with 20 points and 11 assists, Bennedict Mathurin added 20 points and nine assists off the bench while Obi Toppin chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Pacers shot just 36 percent from the field and 10 of 41 from the 3-point line as they did their best to stay within striking distance, until midway through the fourth quarter where the Lakers used a 17-5 run to pull away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in great shape as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after sneaking past the Bulls in a 133-129 overtime win on Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 32 points, 12 rebounds and six assists on nine of 13 shooting, Brook Lopez and Malik Beasley scored 19 points apiece while Damian Lillard chipped in with 14 points and nine assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 51 percent from the field and 15 of 37 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 74 points in the first half, but they didn’t put the Bulls away and needed a crucial 8-1 run at the start of overtime to escape with the narrow win.

Pacers vs Bucks Prediction

The Pacers are still shorthanded with Jalen Smith still out, while the Bucks have again ruled out Chris Livingston and Pat Connaughton.  The Pacers were enjoying a four-game win streak heading into the In-Season Tournament Finals, before they got beaten by the Lakers, but they won’t let that dent their confidence, especially because they’ve already beaten the Bucks twice this season. The Bucks come into this meeting as the team in better form and they have all their key players available, but they seemed to be favored by too many points in this one. With that being said, I think the Bucks do enough to get the win at home, but I think the Pacers push till the end and get the cover.
