As a team, the Warriors shot 53 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 41 points in the first quarter to take the early lead which ballooned to 23 points in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their last 11 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their four-game win streak halted by the Timberwolves in a 127-117 loss on Sunday. Rui Hachimura led the team with 30 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Jaxson Hayes added 19 points with 10 rebounds and five steals off the bench while D’Angelo Russell tallied 15 points with seven rebounds and 11 assists. As a team, the Lakers shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 31 from the 3-point line, but they lost focus early and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing the Timberwolves to explode for 46 points in the second quarter.

You could say the same about the Lakers, who are on a great run before their recent loss to the red-hot Timberwolves. This is certainly a game where you want to check the lineups before tipoff, but assuming that the Lakers’ Davis and James both play. I am interested in taking the Lakers to get the win and cover at the short line at home.
