The Minnesota Twins and the Tampa Bay Rays meet Monday in MLB action from Tropicana Field. Here’s a Tampa Bay Rays vs Minnesota Twins prediction. This will be the first installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Rays vs Twins pick.

It’ll be Zack Littell in the start for the Rays on Monday. This year Littell is 5-8 with a 3.89 ERA in 24 starts. Littell is 21-19 with a 4.02 ERA in 197 career games (42 starts).

Tampa Bay Rays vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’m going to try the Rays. Littell is doing pretty well lately, even though he’s just 1-1 in his last three starts. In that time Littell has three earned in 15.2 total innings on 12 hits and four walks. He should be good for a quality start Monday.

In Sunday’s finale the Rays couldn’t score outside of the sixth inning and managed just four team hits on the day. Tampa Bay did come up with six walks, but could cash in on very little overall. The Rays need a better overall effort Monday, and I think they’ll get it.
