Captain-Breece Hall, Running Back, New York Jets $11,800

Talented New York Jets running back Breece Hall was certainly an essential part of the New York Jets offense in the 2023 NFL regular season. Let’s take a quick look at Hall’s game data from last season to better shed light on my previous statement.

Last season, New York Jets quarterbacks targeted Breece Hall a robust 95 times. In those 95 targets just mentioned, Hall tallied an impressive 76 receptions, 591 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns.

In addition to his outstanding play as a receiver last season, Jets running back Breece Hall was rather effective rushing the football as well. Let me be more specific. In the 17 games that Hall played for the Jets in 2023, Hall accumulated 994 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.

Now that we have identified how Breece Hall played last season, let’s turn our attention to the 2024 NFL regular season. In last week’s New York Jets 24-17 defeat of the Tennessee Titans, Breece Hall compiled 62 rushing yards, seven receptions, and one receiving touchdown. It has to be said, those are the type of fantasy numbers I like to see from a player that I select at the captain position for a Draftkings NFL Showdown slate.

In my opinion, Breece Hall is the most likely player to post the most fantasy points in tomorrow’s NFL regular season contest. For that specific reason, I am backing New York Jets running back Breece Hall at the captain position for this one game NFL DFS Showdown slate.

Garrett Wilson, Wide Receiver, New York Jets $10,200

In addition to Breece Hall, Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been a key contributor to the New York Jets offense this season. In the two games that Garrett Wilson has played for the New York Jets in the 2024 NFL regular season, Garrett has accumulated ten receptions and 117 receiving yards.

I fully expect New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson to continue his outstanding play versus the Patriots tomorrow night.
