New Orleans Pelicans vs Brooklyn Nets Player Prop Picks 11-11-24

In this matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets, the Pelicans enter as the more established team with playoff aspirations. With Jose Alvardo, Brandon Ingram, and Brandon Boston leading the way in this one, New Orleans is poised to build on its strong offensive game and tough defense. The Nets, meanwhile, are in a rebuilding phase after trading key players like Mikal Bridges. Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton remain as core players, but their lack of star power has haunted them the last couple of seasons.

The Pelicans have been tormented by injuries losing Zion Williamson once again. Zion’s production is elite when he’s on the court but season after season he misses significant time. They’ll also be without their new addition of Dejounte Murray. They come into this one 3-7 and will need to pick up wins against teams like the Nets while waiting for some of their guys to get back in action.

Brandon Ingram Over 26.5 PTS

Brandon Ingram is averaging 22.8 points per game for the New Orleans Pelicans. He is shooting 49.4% from the field and 36.1% from three-point range. Ingram is also contributing 6.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, showing his all-around scoring ability. His free-throw shooting has been efficient at 87.5%. Ingram continues to be a key offensive weapon for the Pelicans.

Ingram is coming off a tough game in Orlando where he only scored 11 points which is his season low so far. I’m going to buy low on him in this spot. The Pelicans are so short-handed in this game when it comes to an offensive perspective. The second leading scorer in Monday’s starting lineup is Brandon Boston which should tell you everything you need to know. This Nets team also isn’t strong defensively. I think we see Brandon Ingram have a bounce-back game in a favorable spot against this Nets team.

Dennis Schroder Over 6.5 AST

Dennis Schröder is playing for the Brooklyn Nets and has been averaging 6.6 assists per game. His assists have contributed significantly to the team’s offense, as he typically plays around 35 minutes per game. Notably, he’s shown a strong ability to distribute the ball, with notable performances including games where he logged 7 assists. His assist stats reflect his role as a key facilitator, particularly in fast-paced games.

Dennis Schroder has been the veteran presence for this young Brooklyn Nets and it’s been much needed. He’s currently leading the team in assists per game. Points guards have had a lot of success dishing the rock against the Pelicans this season. They’re allowing 28.9 assists per game to opposing teams which is the third most in the whole league. I expect a close and competitive game with Schroder leading the way and facilitating for the Nets.

Nic Claxton Over 8.5 Rebounds

Claxton currently averages 7.9 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season, showcasing his strong presence on the boards. His rebounding ability, especially on the defensive end, is an important aspect of his game, contributing significantly to the Brooklyn Nets’ defensive efforts. Even though he’s only averaging 7.9 rebounds we’ve seen him have multiple double-digit rebound games with a 12 rebound game against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.

He’ll be matched up with the Pelicans center Yves Messi who is only averaging 5.4 rebounds per game. The Pelicans are allowing 52.9 rebounds per game to opposing teams which is in the top half of the league. This will be one of the more favorable matchups for Claxton this season and I think he cleans up in the paint.
