The Utah Jazz invade the Golden 1 Center to do battle with the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. Here’s a Sacramento Kings vs Utah Jazz Prediction. This article will include a Sacramento Kings vs Utah Jazz Pick.
Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have endured a rough start to the season as they lost their first six games, but things are starting to turn for them as they took down the Mavericks in a 115-113 win on Thursday for their third win in five games. John Collins led the team with 28 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, Jordan Clarkson added 20 points off the bench, Collin Sexton scored 16 points while Kyle Filipowski and Keyonte George each scored 14 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they looked to be headed for disaster when they squandered a 16-point lead in the fourth quarter before they took back the lead with just 6.1 seconds left on the clock thanks to a crucial assist from Clarkson to Collins. The Jazz will play the Clippers and Lakers next.
Sacramento Kings
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after falling just short to the Timberwolves in a 130-126 overtime loss last night. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 60 points and seven assists on 22 of 35 shooting, Domantas Sabonis added 23 points with 12 rebounds and four assists while Keegan Murray chipped in with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. As a team, the Kings shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 37 from the 3-point line as they dominated the fourth quarter to erase an early 20-point deficit, only to come up short in overtime where the Timberwolves went on a pivotal 8-0 run to slip through their fingers in the end.
Sacramento Kings vs Utah Jazz Prediction
The Jazz are again missing Walker Kessler, and they have Lauri Markkanen listed as questionable, while the Kings are still missing Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan, who are both ruled out. The Jazz had a terrible start to the season, but they are starting to get some players back, and it’s really helped them win three of their past five games. Meanwhile, the Kings have been relatively healthy, and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from last night’s overtime loss, as they could’ve easily rolled over once they fell behind by 20 points. The line is a bit hefty for this one, so even though I like the Kings to bounce back with a win at home, I think the value is with the Jazz and the handful of points.
