Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview

The Vegas Golden Knights are 38-18-6 this year after they defeated Pittsburgh by a score of 4-0 in their last game. Vegas scored once in the first period, once in the second, and twice in the third in the shutout win. The Golden Knights outshot Pittsburgh by a total of 27-22, won 44.2% of the face-offs, and went 0-3 on the power play in the game. Vegas got goals from Barbashev, Pearson, Saad, and Stone, while Samsonov stopped all 22 shots in the win.

Prior to that game, the Golden Knights defeated the Maple Leafs by a score of 5-2 and the Devils by a score of 2-0. Vegas has won four games in a row and they are currently first in the Pacific standings with 82 points. Vegas has scored 3.34 goals per game and they have allowed 2.68 goals against per game, while also going 28% on the power play and 76.8% on the penalty kill this season. Los Angeles Kings Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Kings are 32-20-9 this season after they defeated St. Louis in overtime by a score of 2-1 in their last game. Los Angeles blew a 1-0 lead in the first period, but they were able to rally in overtime to get the win. The Kings outshot St. Louis by a total of 23-20, won 51.7% of the face-offs, and went 0-2 on the power play in the game. Los Angeles has lost five of their last six games and they are currently third in the Pacific standings with 73 points. Los Angeles has scored 2.80 goals per game and they have allowed 2.65 goals against per game, while also going 15% on the power play and 81.2% on the penalty kill this season. Adrian Kempe has led LA with 26 goals, 24 assists, and 178 shots on goal, while Anze Kopitar has added 14 goals, 34 assists, and 78 shots on goal. David Rittich is 12-12-2 with a 2.66 goals against average and an .889 save percentage this year.

Golden Knights vs Kings Prediction

Vegas comes into this matchup looking for their fifth win in a row and they will be at home for this game. The Golden Knights are 24-6-3 at home this year, while the Kings have really struggled on the road. Los Angeles has piled up the losses over the last two weeks and they will be on a back-to-back in this contest. The Kings are a very good defensive team, but they are also a very low-scoring offensive team, which has hurt them in their last six games. Vegas has been lights out on home ice and I don’t trust the Kings on the road at all. Take the Golden Knights here.
