Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners Prediction
I’m leaning towards Seattle here. I still have my concerns about the Mariners offense but this feels like a spot where the Mariners need Logan Gilbert to be their stopper and I think he can. The Astros had a nice rally to beat the Twins on Sunday, but I think that game was more about the Twins losing that game than it was about the Astros winning it and Houston’s still scored 3 runs or less in the majority of their games this season. I think the Mariners’ offense showed some life in that Giants series and if they can carry that over here I think the Mariners can start the series with a win here. Give me Seattle in this one.
