FanDuel Best WNBA DFS Picks: Storm vs. Sky 7/24/25
Seattle Storm vs. Chicago Sky
July 24, 2025 8:30 pm EDT
The WNBA presents FanDuel basketball fans with a regular season matchup featuring the Seattle Storm and the Chicago Sky. Let’s take a look at this game from a DFS perspective.
Before we dive into the Seattle Storm vs. Chicago Sky game let’s review the rules for the FanDuel single game showdown contest.
FanDuel Single Game Contest Rules
Here are the FanDuel single game contest rules. You have $60,000 to utilize on five players from either team. However, one of those players will be designated as your team MVP. The MVP accumulates 1.5x times the standard FanDuel fantasy points value. Additionally, the MVP is 1.5 times the standard cost of the flex position.
The remaining five players in your lineup will be flex plays. The five flex positions will receive the standard FanDuel points value. Having stated that, it is highly important for you to identify the correct player for your MVP position if you hope to win a large field GPP (guaranteed prize pool) FanDuel single game contest.
If you have additional questions regarding the rules for the single game contest, I highly recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.
*I recommend that all readers review the starting lineups for both teams prior to setting your DFS lineup for this one game slate.
Here are my FanDuel picks for tonight’s Seattle Storm vs. Chicago Sky matchup.
FanDuel WNBA DFS Picks
MVP-Angel Reese, Forward, Chicago Sky $12,800
Talented forward Angel Reese has been the leader in the paint that the Chicago Sky have needed to win games this season. With that said, how has Reese performed from a statistical perspective? Let’s examine Reese’s relevant game data from the 2025 WNBA regular season to answer that question.
In the 22 games that forward Angel Reese played for the Chicago Sky in the 2025 WNBA regular season, Reese is averaging a rather impressive 13.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks a game.
Looking at the data just presented more closely, in the 21 games that Angel Reese has played for the Sky in 2025, Reese has compiled a 44.8% field goal percentage, a 21.1% three-point percentage and a 77.8% free throw percentage.
Last month, in the Chicago Sky’s 97-86 win over the Los Angeles Sparks, Chicago forward Angel Reese certainly played at a high level. Let me be more specific. In the Sky’s victory over the Sparks, Reese amassed 18 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and four steals.
It should be noted that the Chicago Sky have listed Angel Reese as questionable for this evening’s game. Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups.
In my view, Angel Reese is the most likely player to post the most FanDuel points in this WNBA regular season game. With that said, I am backing Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese at the MVP position for this one game FanDuel WNBA single game contest.
Flex Plays
Gabby Williams, Forward, Seattle Storm $11,200
In the 24 games that Gabby Williams has played for the Seattle Storm this season, Williams has averaged 13.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.5 blocks a game.
Looking closer at the data just presented, in the 24 games that Gabby Williams has played for the Storm in 2025, Williams is averaging 32.3 FanDuel points a contest.
What did we learn from the data just presented? Clearly, Gabby Williams can post a high number of DFS points on any given night. With that said, I fully expect that trend to continue in today’s matchup with the Chicago Sky.
Additional flex plays I like to play well in this WNBA regular season game (FanDuel price noted): Nneka Ogwumike, Forward (Seattle Storm) $11,600: Erica Wheeler, Guard (Seattle Storm) $8,200.
