This Wednesday night, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the first round of the 2025 DP World India Championship. Let’s take a look at the first round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.
Before I discuss my Draftkings first round picks for this week’s event let’s review where the 2025 DP World India Championship will be played.
Where will the 2025 DP World India Championship be played?
The DP World India Championship will be played at the Delhi Golf Club in New Delhi, India. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 6,912 yards.
*I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this DFS slate.

Here are my DraftKings picks for the first round of the 2025 DP World India Championship.
Draftkings First Round Picks
Shane Lowry $9,400
Shane Lowry has amassed three top 23 finishes in his last five events played (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a 15th place the 2025 Irish Open last month.
Due to Shane Lowry’s quality finish at the 2025 Irish Open, I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to determine how Lowry fared relative to the field.
Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Irish Open, in relation to the field, Shane Lowry ranked sixth in strokes gained approach (1.95), second in strokes gained tee to green (3.23), seventh in strokes gained off the tee (1.20) and 16th in total strokes gained (1.95).
What did we learn from the data just presented? The data clearly illustrates that Shane Lowry is playing at a high level entering this week’s DP World India Championship. Having stated that, I fully expect that trend to continue at the Delhi Golf Club on Wednesday night.
Joost Luiten $8,800
Joost Luiten has compiled two top 16 finishes in his last five events played on the DP World Tour, including a 15th place result at the 2025 Amgen Irish Open.
Luiten certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Luiten is currently ranked 12th in driving accuracy (64.56%), 11th in GIR (greens in regulation-71.17%), ninth in par four scoring average (3.99) and fifth in strokes gained approach (0.82) on the DP World Tour.
Ugo Coussaud $8,300
Ugo Coussaud has amassed three top 22 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an impressive fifth place result at last week’s 2025 Open de Espana.
Adrien Saddier $9,000
The talented Frenchman has tallied two top five finishes in his last four events on the DP World Tour, including a second place result at the 2025 BMW PGA Championship five weeks ago.
John Parry $8,700
John Parry arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 23 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a third place result at the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship two weeks ago.
