Phoenix Suns Betting Preview

The Phoenix Suns have been in great form as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Kings in a 112-100 road win on Wednesday. Mark Williams led the team with 21 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and three steals, Collin Gillespie added 21 points with nine assists, Devin Booker tallied 19 points with seven rebounds and six assists while Dillon Brooks chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Suns shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 42 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 41 points in the first quarter to take an early 25-point lead before they held off a late rally from the Kings who cut the lead to just eight points in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been on fire as they’ve won 18 of their first 19 games and they will be looking to build on their current 10-game win streak after sneaking past the Timberwolves in a 113-105 win on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 40 points with six rebounds and six assists on 12 of 19 shooting, Isaiah Hartenstein added 15 points while Ajay Mitchell chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Thunder shot 48 percent from the field and seven of 26 from the 3-point line, but they set this win up with their defense as they held the Timberwolves to just 17 points in the first quarter to take the early lead but it was a real close battle until the Thunder closed the final 2:55 on a 12-4 run to keep their win streak alive.

Phoenix v Oklahoma City Free Prediction

The Suns are still missing Jalen Green, Ryan Dunn and Grayson Allen, while the Thunder are missing Aaron Wiggins and Nikola Topic. The Suns come into this meeting with plenty of momentum as they’ve quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league this season, but they need to be at their absolute best to even challenge this red-hot Thunder team who are welcoming players back into the lineup including Jalen Williams who was fantastic last season. It’s hard to imagine anything but another win for the Thunder at home where they are a perfect 9-0 this season, but the line just seems slightly too hefty for this matchup. Of course it wouldn’t surprise me if the Thunder won by 30 points, but the Suns deserve a bit more credit for their form this season. Give me the Suns to hang around long enough to get the cover in this spot.
