Cleveland Guardians vs. Miami Marlins Prediction
I’m on the Marlins in this one. Originally it’s Max Meyer’s spot in the rotation, but Meyer is on the all-star squad, so that forced Phillips into this spot. The Guardians have won a fair number of Cantillo’s starts this year, but I’m convinced that the Marlins have improved their approach against left-handed pitching this season. Phillips is still a decent option and I’m still not convinced as far as this Cleveland Guardians offense goes, so I’ll roll with the Marlins to avoid the sweep here.
