The USC Trojans and Arizona Wildcats square off Saturday night in week 9 PAC-12 college football action at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in LA. The Arizona Wildcats need a win to rebound from a brutal 0-7 record. The USC Trojans need a win after losing three of their last four games.

The Arizona Wildcats haven’t won a road game since October 2019. Gunner Cruz is completing 65.6 percent of his passes for 536 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Stanley Berryhill III and BJ Casteel have combined for 688 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Tayvian Cunningham has 15 receptions. The Arizona Wildcats ground game is averaging 129.6 yards per contest, and Drake Anderson leads the way with 239 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Arizona is allowing 30.4 points and 362.3 yards per game. Anthony Pandy leads the Arizona Wildcats with 51 tackles, Mo Diallo has three sacks and Gunner Maldonado has one interception.

The USC Trojans have lost three straight home games. Kedon Slovis is completing 65.3 percent of his passes for 1,818 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions. Drake London and Tahj Washington have combined for 1,312 receiving yards and six touchdowns, while Gary Bryant Jr. has 21 receptions. The USC Trojans ground game is averaging 129.1 yards per contest, and Keaontay Ingram leads the way with 557 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, USC is allowing 27.9 points and 382.3 yards per game. Kana’i Mauga leads the USC Trojans with 44 tackles, Drake Jackson has four sacks and Greg Johnson has one interception.

The Wildcats are 7-22 ATS in their last 29 road games and 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The Trojans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite. The under is 4-1 in Wildcats last 5 games overall. The over is 4-1 in Trojans last 5 games overall. The Wildcats are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

The Arizona Wildcats are god awful on both sides of the ball and are a tough sell even in the underdog role given their lack of success against the number. With that said, the USC Trojans aren’t playing much better, as their losses are piling up, they can’t run the football and the defense has taken steps back. USC is 80th in scoring defense and in the 70s against both the pass and run. USC has also lost three straight at home. I don’t want to back Arizona as much as the next guy, but I’m not laying three touchdowns with USC.
