The Miami-OH RedHawks and Buffalo Bulls clash Tuesday night in week 11 MAC college football action from Yager Stadium in Oxford. The Bulls are 2-1 in their last three games and coming off a 12-point loss to Bowling Green. As for Miami-OH, they’re similarly 2-1 in their last three and lost by two points to Ohio in their last game. Check back all season long for free college football picks at Sports Chat Place.

Buffalo kicked off the year with a 2-2 run, beating Wagner and Old Dominion while otherwise falling to Nebraska and Coastal Carolina. Another 2-2 run came after that for the Bulls with wins over Ohio and Akron. Buffalo fell to Bowling Green 56-44 in their last outing October 30.

In the loss to Bowling Green, Buffalo coughed up 28 points in the first half and 28 more in the fourth quarter. QB Matt Myers finished on 239 yards with a TD and a pick, while Dylan McDuffie did the ground work on 34 carries, 166 yards and two scores.

Over on the RedHawks’ side, they went just 1-3 over their first four, losing to Cincinnati, Minnesota and Army mixed in with a win over LIU. Miami-OH flipped things around with a 3-1 run over their next four games, but then lost 35-33 to Ohio last Tuesday.

In the defeat, the Redhawks allowed points during every quarter and didn’t score until the second half. QB Brett Gabbert put up a nice line on 492 yards, five TDs and one interception. Jack Sorenson was tops in receiving with a whopping 283 yards and two touchdowns from 14 grabs.

The Bulls are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine after an ATS loss and 6-1 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games. Buffalo is 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games as well.

Meanwhile, the RedHawks are 5-2 ATS in their last seven after an ATS loss and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 at home. Miami-OH is also 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games.

PICK: I’m going to take Miami-OH in this one. The RedHawks probably should have beaten Ohio in their last outing. Miami-OH posted 569 total yards (492 passing), 6.9 yards per play and 24 first downs, but also gave up 125 rush yards and committed nine penalties. It also took the team a while to get going.

As for Buffalo, they did well offensively (499 total yards) against Bowling Green. It’s hard to keep up when you’re giving up 484 yards and 10.5 yards per play on the other side, though. The Falcons struck quickly and often. I like Buffalo to hang around in this one—and it could be a pretty high-scoring game—but I like the RedHawks on an eventual cover.
