The Toledo Rockets and the Ohio Bobcats meet in college football MAC-tion from Peden Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Toledo Rockets come into this game on the heels of a 49-17 beatdown win over Bowling Green in their last game. Dequan Finn has thrown for 1,448 yards, 11 touchdowns and 1 interception on 58.5% passing while Carter Bradley has 962 passing yards ith 4 touchdowns and a pick on 59.1% passing. Bryant Koback leads the Rockets in rushing with 943 rushing yards and with 9 touchdowns while Finn has 378 rushing yards and 6 scores. Devin Maddox leads Toledo’s receivers with 502 receiving yards on 33 catches with 3 TDs while Isaiah Winstead has 423 receiving yards and 30 receptions. Another four Toledo receivers have at least 200 receiving yards and three more have at least 100 receiving yards on the year. Defensively, Maxen Hook leads Toledo with 73 total tackles while Jonathan Jones is right behind with 72 total tackles and 3 sacks. Jamal Hines has a team-high 6 ascks and Desjuan Johnson also has 4 sacks this season.

The Ohio Bobcats will look to build on back-to-back wins after a 34-26 win over Eastern Michigan last time out. Kurtis Rourke has thrown for 1,481 yards, 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 68.2% passing while De’Montre Tuggle has a team-high 699 rushing yards and Armani Rogers has 522 rushing yards with 6 TDs. Cameron Odom leads the Bobcats with 378 receiving yards and Ty Walton has 356 receiving yards while Isiah Cox has 291 receiving yards for the Bobcats. Another four Ohio receivers have at least 100 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Bryce Houston leads the Bobcats with 81 total tackles while Tariq Drake has a team-high 3 interceptions this season.

Toledo is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 games overall. Ohio is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 conference games while the under is 11-1 in their last 12 games as a home underdog.

I get why Toledo would be favored here, and maybe it’s a square play, but I’m leaning towards Ohio and the points here. I mean the Bobcats have been a cover machine over the last month and a half and while the Rockets are a solid team, they’ve been in their fair share of close calls as of late. Looks like a prime spot for the Bobcats to bank another cover so I’ll lean towards Ohio and the points here.
