The Temple Owls and Umass Minutemen do battle Saturday afternoon in week 4 college football action at Lincoln Financial Field. The Umass Minutemen look to get to a .500 record. The Temple Owls also need a win to get to a 2-2 record.

The Minutemen are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Owls are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The over is 10-4 in Minutemen last 14 games in September. The under is 9-4 in Owls last 13 games on grass.
The Temple Owls aren’t world beaters by any means, and I’m not thrilled to lay chalk with them regardless of opponent. However, oddsmakers are telling you just how terrible the Umass Minutemen are with this line. UMass does nothing well on either side of the ball, and it’s gotten rocked in two games against decent teams. At least Temple took Rutgers down to the wire last week, which was encouraging. It’s Temple or pass for me. UMass is just that bad.
