The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Missouri Tigers meet Friday in college football action from Faurot Field. Arkansas is coming off a weekend matchup versus Ole Miss. The Razorbacks took an upset win in that game. As for Missouri, they played New Mexico State in their last game. In that one the Tigers cruised to a blowout win. Arkansas began their year with three straight wins, then hit three straight losses versus Texas A&M, Alabama and Mississippi State. The Razorbacks went 2-2 after that, beating BYU and Auburn before losses to Liberty and LSU.

In Saturday’s matchup versus Ole Miss, Arkansas posted 35 points in the first half and went into the final quarter up 42-6. Ole Miss posted some cosmetic points from there in a 42-27 Arkansas win. Quarterback KJ Jefferson put up 168 yards with three scores.

Over on the Missouri side, they opened the season at 2-1 before losses to Auburn, Georgia and Florida in succession. The Tigers then beat Vanderbilt and South Carolina before losses to Kentucky and Tennessee.

Matched up against New Mexico State, the Tigers posted a 21-0 lead by halftime. Missouri managed 24 more points in the second for a 45-14 win. QB Brady Cook posted 251 yards and three scores while also leading the rush on seven carries for 71 yards.

The Razorbacks are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven after an ATS win. Arkansas is 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 road games.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 on turf and the under is 6-1 in their last seven Friday games.

PICK: I might try Arkansas in this one. The Razorbacks did a great job against Ole Miss in their upset win last weekend, notching 503 total yards (335 rushing) and 24 first downs. Defensively the team gave up 703 yards to the Rebels (463 rushing) but also had three turnovers. It was a nice bounce-back effort after consecutive losses.

As for Missouri, they’re coming off a nice win themselves with 443 total yards versus New Mexico. This should be a fun matchup, but as long as Arkansas doesn’t have a hangover I like them on a cover.
