SEC: Georgia vs Auburn 10/8/22 College Football Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers clash Saturday in a week 6 SEC college football game from Sanford Stadium.

The Auburn Tigers will look to rebound after falling to 3-2 on the year with a 21-17 loss at the hands of LSU last time out. Robby Ashford’s thrown for 709 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 picks on 54.1% passing. Tarik Bigsby has a team-high 326 rushing yards with 4 TDs and Ja’Varrius Johnson leads Auburn’s receiving group with 16 grabs for 305 yards this season. On defense, Owen Pappoe has a team-high 33 total tackles including 19 solo tackles while Derick Hall has 4 of Auburn’s 11 sacks as a unit this season.

The Georgia Bulldogs will look to build on their 26-22 win over Missouri to stay unbeaten at 5-0 on the year. Stetson Bennett has thrown for 1,536 yards, 5 touchdowns and an interception on 69.5% passing while Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards have combined for 473 rushing yards this season with Milton logging 4 touchdowns. I get the case to be made for either side here, as Auburn’s offense has been inept for much of the season while Georgia’s had a couple of defensive clunkers in the last couple of weeks and it almost cost them against Missouri last time out. That being said, I’m looking at the under here. The under’s hit in five straight meetings and I think Georgia’s defense wakes up against this horrid Auburn offense but I don’t expect Georgia to light it up offensively either. I think this one hits 41 or 44 points at best so give me the under here.
