The Ottawa Redblacks and BC Lions meet Saturday in week 13 CFL action at Royal Athletic Park. Here’s a BC Lions vs Ottawa Redblacks Prediction. This article will include a BC Lions vs Ottawa Redblacks Pick.

Ottawa Redblacks Betting Preview

The Ottawa Redblacks look for another win to build on their 7-2-1 record. The Redblacks haven’t lost a game since week 5 against the Blue Bombers. Dru Brown is completing 67 percent of his passes for 2,326 yards, 9 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Justin Hardy and Jaelon Acklin have combined for 1,288 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, while Dominique Rhymes has 32 receptions. The Ottawa Redblacks ground game is averaging 96.1 yards per contest, and Ryquell Armstead leads the way with 599 yards and 3 touchdowns. Defensively, Ottawa is allowing 24.5 points and 348.2 yards per game. Deandre Lamont leads the Ottawa Redblacks with 60 tackles, Michael Wakefield has 5 sacks and Alonzo Addae has 2 interceptions.

BC Lions Betting Preview

The BC Lions need a win to snap a 5-game losing streak. The BC Lions haven’t won a game since week 6 against the Roughriders. Vernon Adams Jr. is completing 64.5 percent of his passes for 2,469 yards, 14 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Justin McInnis and Alexander Hollins have combined for 1,746 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, while Ayden Eberhardt has 22 receptions. The BC Lions ground game is averaging 94.6 yards per contest, and William Stanback leads the way with 717 yards and 1 touchdown. Defensively, BC is allowing 25.6 points and 397.7 yards per game. Ben Hladik leads the BC Lions with 51 tackles, Sione Teuhema has 5 sacks and Ciante Evans has 2 interceptions.

BC Lions vs Ottawa Redblacks Prediction

The only reason the BC Lions are favored is that they’ve won 8 of the last 9 games against the Redblacks. That’s it. As I said last week, the Redblacks have been awful in past years, and it feels like oddsmakers and bettors have PTSD. Every week the Redblacks are disrespected with these lines, and yet they’re 7-2-1 SU and 7-3 ATS on the season. The Redblacks just beat the Lions last week to end the drought against BC. Until the wins and covers stop, I’ll keep siding with the Redblacks, a team that’s certainly played better ball than the Lions up to this point.
