The Edmonton Elks and Ottawa Redblacks meet Friday in CFL action at TD Place Stadium. Here’s a Redblacks vs Elks Prediction. This article will include a Redblacks vs Elks Pick.

Edmonton Elks Betting Preview

The Edmonton Elks beat the Alouettes and Argonauts, and they play the Stampeders next. The Edmonton Elks have lost nine of their last 14 regular season games. Cody Fajardo is completing 77.5 percent of his passes for 1,272 yards, 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Steven Dunbar Jr. and Justin Rankin have combined for 911 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns, while Kurleigh Gittens Jr. has 32 receptions.

Defensively, Edmonton is allowing 29 points and 408.1 yards per game. Nyles Morgan leads the Edmonton Elks with 48 tackles, Noah Taylor has 1 sack, and Jake Ceresna has 1 interception.

Ottawa Redblacks Betting Preview

The Ottawa Redblacks beat the Argonauts, lost to the Blue Bombers, and they play the Lions next. The Redblacks have lost 11 of their last 15 regular season games. Dru Brown is completing 72.7 percent of his passes for 1,842 yards, 12 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Eugene Lewis and Justin Hardy have combined for 1,235 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, while Bralon Addison has 38 receptions.

The Ottawa Redblacks ground game is averaging 96.9 yards per contest, and William Stanback leads the way with 434 yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively, Ottawa is allowing 28.6 points and 367.9 yards per game. Adarius Pickett leads the Ottawa Redblacks with 63 tackles, Bryce Carter has 3 sacks and C.J. Coldon has 3 interceptions.

Redblacks vs Elks Prediction

I’m not excited to get involved in this game, as I don’t trust either the Redblacks or the Elks. With that said, the Elks head into this game in much better form, and they beat the Redblacks in early July as a 2.5-point underdog. Home field doesn’t matter when the Redblacks have lost three of their four games. I’ll side with the Elks, who are coming off back-to-back wins, but I don’t feel fantastic about it either way.
