Thomas Bruce isn’t far off from being the second double-digit scorer for Binghamton with 9.7 PPG this season with 6 rebounds per game and George Tinsley is right behind in third averaging 9.6 PPG as well as team-highs of 8.3 RPG and 3.1 APG this season. The Hartford Hawks will look to bounce back after falling to 5-4 on the year after a 53=51 loss to New Hampshire last time out. Moses Flowers leads the Hawks in scoring with 11.6 PPG along with sitting 2nd on the team in rebounding with 5.7 RPG this season. Miroslav Stafl is 2nd in scoring with 10.8 PPG as well as posting a team-high 7 rebounds per game this season as the only other double-digit scorer for Hartford on the year. Traci Carter and Austin Williams each have 9.5+ PPG this season with Carter posting 2 APG while Williams has 5.3 RPG this season. As a team, Hartford is averaging 63.4 points on 40.2% shooting from the field, 34% from 3-point range and 66.7% from the foul line while allowing opposing teams to average 64 points on 43.4% shooting from the field and 32.3% from 3-point range this season.
Binghamton is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a win while the over is 9-2 in their last 11 games overall. Hartford is 21-9-1 ATS in their last 31 games overall and 11-5 ATS in their last 20 games at home while the under is 14-6 in their last 20 games following a loss. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
I’ve gone back and forth on this game as I’ve struggled with making a case for both sides. With that said, Hartford’s easily been the better team up to this point in the year and I just don’t know if Binghamton’s got the horses to go toe to toe with Hartford here. I think the Hawks are the more battle-tested team and I think it serves the Hawks well here. I’ll lay the points with the Hawks in this spot.
