The Kansas Jayhawks and the Oklahoma Sooners meet Saturday in college basketball action from Lloyd Noble Center.

Kansas enters this one at 10-4 so far. The Jayhawks have lost consecutive games to Oklahoma State and Baylor. As for Oklahoma, they’re sitting at 8-4 this season. The Sooners have won consecutive games over TCU and Kansas State. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Kansas opened their year with a loss to Gonzaga, but then took eight straight wins before a loss to Texas 84-59 on January 2. Since then the Jayhawks have wins over TCU and Oklahoma prior to losses 75-70 to Oklahoma State and 77-69 to Baylor on Monday.

In the loss to the Bears, Kansas’ Christian Braun posted 17 points with four rebounds and one assist. The only other team player in double-figures was Ochai Agbaji with 16 points, two rebounds and one assist, and Marcus Garrett chipped in nine points with eight assists and three boards.

Over on the Oklahoma side, they began their season with a 5-1 run with a loss to Xavier and wins over UTSA, TCU, Florida A&M, Oral Roberts and Houston Baptist. Since then the Sooners are 3-3 with losses to Texas Tech, Baylor and Kansas alongside wins over West Virginia, TCU and Kansas State.

In the 76-50 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday, Oklahoma’s De’Vion Harmon led the team on 16 points with four rebounds and two assists. Alondes Williams added 13 points with two assists, and Elijah Harkless pulled down 13 rebounds with eight points and six assists.

The Sooners are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 5-1 ATS in their last six overall. Oklahoma is 5-1 ATS in their last six Saturday games and the under is 4-0 in their last four overall.

Meanwhile, the Jayhawks are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five Saturday games. The over is 5-1 in Kansas’ last six overall and the under is 5-1 in their last six Saturday games.

PICK: I’m going to take Oklahoma here. The last time these teams played on January 9, the Jayhawks managed a 63-59 win. The Sooners had a 33-31 lead at the half, but didn’t shoot well on 38.3 percent from the field. Kansas had a solid game with 48.9 percent shooting and a 35-32 rebounding edge, but also coughed up 16 turnovers and gave the Sooners 10 steals. This should be another interesting matchup, and I think Oklahoma is ready to bang out a cover in the rematch.
