The Buffalo Bulls and the Northern Illinois Huskies meet Tuesday in college basketball action from NIU Convocation Center.

Buffalo enters this one at 9-7 so far. The Bulls are 3-1 in the last four games and coming off a loss to Toledo. As for Northern Illinois, they’re sitting at 2-13 this year. The Huskies have lost four straight, most recently to Miami-OH. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Buffalo was sitting at 5-5 back on January 19, but they’ve posted a pretty solid 4-2 run since then. The wins in that stretch came versus Eastern Michigan, Ball State, Miami-OH and Western Michigan. The Bulls’ losses were to Ohio and Toledo.

In the 80-70 loss to the Rockets on Friday, Buffalo’s Jeenathan Williams put up 19 points with 10 rebounds and one assist. Both Jayvon Graves and Ronaldo Segu notched 11 points apiece, and Josh Mballa posted nine points with 13 rebounds.

Over on the Northern Illinois side, they’ve been struggling for most of the season and opened up with a sketchy 2-9 mark over their first 11 games. Since then it’s been four straight losses for the Huskies. They’ve fallen to Ball State, Kent State, Akron and Miami-OH in that time.

In the 69-64 loss to Miami-OH, Northern Illinois’ Trendon Handerson put up 22 points with foru rebounds and two assists. Tyler Cochran added 11 points with three rebounds and two assists, and Zool Kueth chipped in 10 points and two boards.

The Huskies are 7-2 ATS in their last nine Tuesday games and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight home games. NIU is 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 overall and the under is 4-0 in their last four home games.

Meanwhile, the Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 5-2 ATS in the last seven overall. Buffalo is 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss and the over is 4-1 in the last five after an ATS loss.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Buffalo. The Huskies’ record this year has been pretty ugly, but to their credit they’ve been within five points in each of their last two losses. The Bulls couldn’t keep up with Toledo in their last outing, but overall they’ve been a great scoring team this season and routinely finish above 80 points. I think this one will be another high-scoring instance for Buffalo.
