The Holy Cross Crusaders lost their 7th straight game and dropped to 2-11 on the season after being defeated by the Navy Midshipmen, 70-56, this past Saturday. The Holy Cross Crusaders struggled on the offensive end against Navy and could not fight back after falling behind by a 42-20 margin at halftime. Holy Cross shot 43.5% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc while allowing Navy to shoot 43.6% from the field & 42.9% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Crusaders was Gerrale Gates who had 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, & 1 steal.

On the season, Holy Cross is averaging 65.1 ppg on 42.3% shooting from the field. The Crusaders are averaging 6.1 three-pointers per game on 35.7% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Holy Cross has been led by Kyrell Luc (12.2 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.8 apg, 1.4 spg), Gerrale Gates (11.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.2 apg), Judson Martindale (11.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.1 spg), & Bo Montgomery (7.2 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.1 spg).

Defensively, Holy Cross is allowing their opponents to an average of 70.7 ppg on 46.7% shooting from the field. The Crusaders have a rebound margin of 0.8 and a turnover margin of -1.8.

The Loyola (MD) Greyhounds dropped to 6-6 on the season after being defeated by the Army Black Knights, 77-74 (OT), this past Saturday. Loyola (MD) was able to fight back from a 46-33 deficit at halftime to force OT, however, could not fight back after Army took a 74-68 lead with 3:45 left in OT. Loyola (MD) shot 47.6% from the field & 37.5% from beyond the arc while allowing Army to shoot 43.1% from the field & 31.8% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Greyhounds was Cameron Spencer who had 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assits, & 3 steals.

On the season, Loyola (MD) is averaging 68.6 ppg on 43.2% shooting from the field. The Greyhounds are averaging 7.8 three-pointers per game on 31.8% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Loyola (MD) has been led by Cameron Spencer (18.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 3.9 apg, 2.3 spg), Jaylin Andrews (14.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.9 spg), Kenny Jones (8.8 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 5.0 apg, 1.5 spg), & Veljko Ilic (6.3 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.1 apg).

Defensively, Loyola (MD) is allowing their opponents to average 67.8 ppg on 42.8% shooting from the field. The Greyhounds have a rebound margin of -0.8 and a turnover margin of 1.0.

The Crusaders are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 Tuesday games, however, are just 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Greyhounds are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games and 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games.

Holy Cross has struggled on both ends of the court this season as the Crusaders come into this game ranked just 303rd in scoring offense, 226th in scoring defense, & 328th in defensive FG%. Loyola (MD) has been led by their defense which ranks 170th in scoring defense, however, the Greyhounds have had trouble putting up points on the board at time as they come into this matchup ranked just 261st in scoring offense & 220th in FG%.

Holy Cross has really struggled on both ends of the court this season and have really struggled on the road, posting an 0-6 record which includes losses to Central Connecticut State & Quinnipiac. Loyola (MD) is 4-0 at home this season and as I think their defense is going to give Holy Cross a bunch of trouble, I think the Greyhounds pull away in the 2nd half and cover this large home spread. Good Luck!
