On Wednesday versus Old Westbury, the Peacocks got back into the win column. Saint Peter’s scored 48 points in the first half and 50 more from there in a 98-51 victory. Isiah Dasher led the team with his 18 points and six boards.
PICK: I’m likely going to stay with Fairleigh Dickinson. The Knights shot a tepid 36.5 percent from the field with a 42-29 rebounding deficit against Pittsburgh in their last game, but FDU should match up much better in this one. The Knights have generally scored well this year; they hit 77 or more points in each of their first six games. As for Saint Peter’s, they’ve got a few solid offensive performances in the books this year but I don’t think they’ll keep the cover pace in this one.
