Seton Hall vs Oklahoma 11/25/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Oklahoma Sooners and the Seton Hall Pirates meet in college basketball action from the State Farm Field House on Friday night.

The Oklahoma Sooners will look to build on their 69-56 win over Nebraska last time out. Grant Sherfield leads the Sooners in scoring and assists with 15.5 PPG along with 4.8 APG while Tanner Groves has 10 PPG and 10 RPG to lead the Sooners in rebounding, averaging a double-double per game as the only other double-digit scorer for Oklahoma up to this point in the year. As a team, Oklahoma is averaging 64.8 points per game on 46.8% shooting from the field, 32.3% from three point range and 71.4% from the foul line this season.

The Seton Hall Pirates will hope to build on their 70-69 win over Memphis last time out. Al-Amir Dawes leads the Pirates in scoring with 12 PPG along with 4.8 RPG while Dre Davis has 11.3 PPG with 4.3 RPG and Tyrese Samuel has 10.5 PPG with a team-high 6 RPG to lead the Pirates in rebounding this season. Trey Jackson has 10.3 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Seton Hall this season. As a team, Seton Hall is averaging 75.6 points per game on 44.6% shooting from the field, 36.8% from behind the three point line and 70.2% from the foul line this season.

This is going to be a great matchup between two solid defenses, and that’s why I’m looking at the under, as obvious as a play as it may sound. It doesn’t hurt that the Sooners play at such a slow pace and Oklahoma really stifled Nebraska in the second half in their game and it’ll be interesting to see if OU can carry it over against Seton Hall. On the other side, Seton Hall’s looked good under Shaheen Holloway defensively, and I think this is going to be an all out defensive battle. Give me the under here.
