Auburn had no trouble generating offense against the tough Florida defense and was able to pull away after the Tigers took a 75-63 lead with 2:34 left in regulation. Auburn shot 53.6% from the field & 44.4% from beyond the arc while allowing Florida to shoot 41.4% from the field & 27.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Tigers was K.D. Defensively, Auburn is holding their opponents to an average of 64.9 ppg on 38.3% shooting from the field. The Tigers have a rebound margin of 3.7 and a turnover margin of 4.5.

The 24th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 11-4 on the season after being defeated by the Missouri Tigers, 92-86, this past Saturday. Alabama had no answers defensively in the 2nd half for Missouri and could not fight back after the Tigers took a 72-564 lead with 10:42 left in regulation. Alabama shot 49.3% from the field & 37.5% from beyond the arc while allowing Missouri to shoot 49.2% from the field & 37.5% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Crimson Tide was Jahvon Quinerly who had 19 points, 5 rebounds, & 4 assists.

Offensively, Alabama has been led by Jaden Shackelford (16.3 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.3 apg), Jahvon Quinerly (15.5 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 4.3 apg), Keon Ellis (12.2 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.7 spg), & JD Davison (8.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 4.3 apg).

Defensively, Alabama is allowing their opponents to average 74.0 ppg on 42.9% shooting from the field. The Crimson Tide have a rebound margin of 4.5 and a turnover margin of -0.4.

The Tigers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games, however, are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Crimson Tide are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games and just 3-4 in their last 7 home games.

Auburn has been outstanding on both ends of the court this season as the Tigers comes into this game ranked 23rd in scoring offense, 87th in scoring defense, & 19th in defensive FG%. Alabama has been led by their offense which ranks 15th in scoring offense, 72nd in FG%, & 41st in three-pointers made per game, however, the Crimson Tide have struggled defensively and currently rank just t-289th in scoring defense & 208th in defensive FG%.

Alabama certainly has had some questionable performances as of late, however, the Crimson Tide are 7-0 at home on the season and have an offense that has no issues putting up plenty of points. Auburn is a great team, however, I think the Tigers are do for a bit of a regression and as I think Alabama comes out strong against their rival, I’m taking the Crimson Tide to cover this small home spread. Good Luck!
