The Colorado Buffaloes and the Arizona Wildcats meet in college basketball action from the McKale Center on Thursday night.

The Colorado Buffaloes will look to build on a five-game winning streak after a 78-64 win over Washington last time out. Jabari Walker leads the Buffs in scoring and rebounding with 13.4 PPG and 8.4 RPG while Evan Battey has 12.6 PPG with 4.5 RPG. Keeshawn Barthelemy has 11.4 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Colorado up to this point in the year. As a team, Colorado is averaging 72.4 PPG on 45.7% shooting from the field, 32.2% from three and 72.2% from the foul line while allowing 66 PPG on 40.9% shooting from the field and 32.4% from three this season.

The Arizona Wildcats will try to build on their 95-79 win over Washington in their last game. Bennedict Mathurin leads the Wildcats in scoring with 18.9 PPG along with 6.5 RPG while Azuolas Tubelis has 14.8 PPG with 6.1 RPG. Christian Koloko has 13.5 PPG with a team-high 7.2 RPG to lead Arizona on the glass while Kerr Krilsa has 12.5 PPG with a team-high 5 APG to lead the Wildcats in assists and round out the group of double-digit scorers for Arizona so far this season. As a team, Arizona is averaging 89.9 PPG on 49.8% shooting from the field, 35.7% from three and 72.3% from the foul line while allowing 65.2 PPG on 36.8% shooting from the field and 31.3% from three this season.

Colorado is 15-42 ATS in their last 57 road games against a team with a winning home record and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Thursday games while the under is 21-5 in their last 26 games as an underdog. Arizona is 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 games as a home favorite.

I get that this is a lot of points with Colorado, so the Buffaloes may get the first look here. However, the Buffs haven’t been scoring with the same consistency that they had to start the year and Arizona, while they didn’t cover against Washington, still put up 95 in that game and have been a juggernaut for the most part so far this season. I just don’t see this being a spot where Colorado trips up the Wildcats, so I’ll lay it and play it with Arizona here.
