The Pennsylvania Quakers and the Arkansas Razorbacks meet Sunday in college basketball action from Bud Walton Arena. Penn is sitting at 3-5 so far this year and coming off a loss to Towson. As for the Razorbacks, they’re rolling at 5-0 this season. Arkansas took out Cincinnati in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Penn kicked off the season at 0-2 following losses to Florida State and George Mason. The Quakers evened things up with victories over Bucknell and Lafayett, but then lost to Utah State and Davidson before a win over Old Dominion.

Back on Tuesday in Penn’s last game, they took a 15-point loss to Towson. The Quakers fell behind 34-23 at half-time and didn’t get closer in a 76-61 result. Jordan Dingle led the team on 21 points with five boards.

Over on the Arkansas side, they beat Mercer 74-61 in their first game of the year, then took care of Gardner-Webb 86-69. Two more wins followed for the Razorbacks in their next pair: 93-80 over Northern Iowa and 72-64 over Kansas State.

The Razorbacks played a relatively tight game against Cincinnati in their last outing. Arkansas was down 30-26 at the break, then surged on a 47-37 run for a 73-67 victory. Au’Diese Toney led the way on 19 points with nine rebounds and one assist.

Arkansas is 13-6 ATS in their last 19 overall and 6-1 ATS in the last seven Sunday games. The Razorbacks are 19-9-1 ATS in their last 29 at home.

Meanwhile, the Quakers are 4-0 ATS in their last four on Sunday and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 after an ATS loss. The over is 9-3 in Penn’s last 12 overall.

PICK: I’m going with Arkansas in this one. The Razorbacks are coming off a challenge against Cincinnati, ultimately shooting just 34.8 percent from the floor with 11 turnovers. Arkansas’ saving grace in the win was a 46-32 rebounding edge which helped tremendously in taking the comeback win.

As for Penn, they’ve had a few solid offensive outings so far this year, but they’ve been inconsistent when it comes to scoring. The Quakers are going to need to be perfect to cover here and I don’t think they’ll quite get to it.
