Army vs Colgate 2/16/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Colgate Raiders will travel to Christl Arena to take on the Army Black Knights this Wednesday night in College Basketball action.

The Colgate Raiders won their 7^th straight game and improved to 15-11 on the season after defeating the Lafayette Leopards, 69-61, this past Monday night. Colgate was solid on the offensive end against Lafayette and was able to pull away in the 2^nd half after taking a 66-57 lead with 5:09 left in regulation. Colgate shot 53.4% from the field & 31.3% from beyond the arc while allowing Lafayette to shoot 47.4% from the field & 30.4% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Raiders was Keegan Records who had a double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, & 3 blocks.

On the season, Colgate is averaging 74.9 ppg on 46.7% shooting from the field. The Raiders are averaging 9.8 three-pointers per game on 39.1% shooting from beyond the arc. Army struggled on the offensive end against navy and could not fight back after the Midshipmen took a 47-40 lead with 3:14 left in regulation. Army shot just 29.6% from the field & 14.3% from beyond the arc while allowing Navy to shoot 33.9% from the field & 22.2% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Black Knights was Jalen Rucker who had 18 points, 2 rebounds, & 2 assists.

On the season, Army is averaging 69.6 ppg on 43.2% shooting from the field. The Black Knights are averaging 6.7 three-pointers per game on 31.5% shooting from beyond the arc. Army has done a great job of covering ATS as of late, however, Army had no answers for Colgate on the road earlier this season in a 76-57 loss and as I think the Raiders once again have plenty of success on the offensive end, I’m taking the Raiders to cover this mid-range road spread.
