The Alabama Crimson Tide will travel to Auburn Arena to take on the top-ranked Auburn Tigers this Tuesday night in College Basketball action.

The Alabama Crimson Tide improved to 14-7 on the season after defeating the 4th ranked Baylor Bears, 87-78, this past Saturday. Alabama was outstanding on the offensive end against the tough Baylor defense and was able to hold off the Bears for the victory after taking a 57-42 lead with 11:50 left in regulation. Alabama shot 59.2% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc while allowing Baylor to shoot 46.4% from the field & 47.4% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Crimson Tide was Jaden Shackelford who had 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, & 3 steals.

On the season, Alabama is averaging 81.4 ppg on 45.2% shooting from the field. The Crimson Tide are averaging 9.1 three-pointers per game on 31.0% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Alabama has been led by Jaden Shackelford (17.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.0 spg), Jahvon Quinerly (14.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 4.3 apg, 1.0 spg), Keon Ellis (12.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.9 apg, 2.0 spg), & JD Davidson (8.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.1 apg).

Defensively, Alabama is allowing their opponents to average 74.9 ppg on 43.4% shooting from the field. The Crimson Tide have a rebound margin of 4.3 and a turnover margin of -0.4.

The top-ranked Auburn Tigers won their 17th straight game and improved to 20-1 on the season after defeating the Oklahoma Sooners, 86-68, this past Saturday. Auburn was outstanding defensively against Oklahoma and pulled away in the 2nd half after taking a 70-55 lead with 6:57 left in regulation. Auburn shot 46.0% from the field & 26.1% from beyond the arc while holding Oklahoma to shoot 38.9% from the field & 29.6% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Tigers was Jabari Smith who had a double-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 1 block, & 2 steals.

On the season, Auburn is averaging 79.7 ppg on 45.2% shooting from the field. The Tigers are averaging 8.5 three-pointers per game on 33.3% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Auburn has been led by Jabari Smith (15.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.3 spg), K.D. Johnson (13.2 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.3 apg, 2.1 spg), Wendell Green Jr. (12.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 4.9 apg, 1.6 spg), & Walker Kessler (11.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.0 spg, 4.0 bpg).

Defensviely, Auburn is holding their opponents to an average of 65.4 ppg on 39.1% shooting from the field. The Tigers have a rebound margin of 4.0 and a turnover margin of 4.2.

The Crimson Tide are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall & 0-5 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games. The Tigers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 & 16-5 ATS overall on the season.

Alabama has been led by their offense which ranks 11th in scoring offense, 115th in FG%, & 44th in three-pointers made per game, however, the Crimson Tide has struggled defensively as they come into this matchup ranked just 309th in scoring defense & 210th in defensive FG%. Auburn has been outstanding on both ends of the court this season as they come into this game ranked 21st in scoring offense, 79th in scoring defense, & 20th in defensive FG%.

Alabama is coming off a much-need and impressive win against Baylor, however, this is still a team that is just 1-4 on the road this season which includes an embarrassing loss recently at Georgia. Auburn already has a win at Alabama this season and as I think the Tigers are going to dominate their rival on both ends of the court in this one, I’m taking Auburn to win this one by 10+ and cover this spread. Good Luck!
