Belmont vs Bradley 12/28/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Bradley Braves and the Belmont Bruins meet Wednesday in college baseball action from Curb Event Center. Bradley is 9-4 overall this year. The Braves beats Akron in their last game. Bradley’s victories this year have come over UW-Parkside, Eastern Michigan, SEMO, Merrimack, Northern Iowa, Missouri State, SIUE, Stonehill and Akron. The losses have come to Utah State, Auburn, Liberty and Arkansas. 

Last Thursday versus Akron, Bradley didn’t have too much trouble. The Braves were up 36-19 after one half and cruised to a 74-55 win from there. Tops in scoring was Rienk Mast with 15 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. 

Over on the Belmont side, they’ve beaten Ohio, George Mason, Howard, Georgia State, Valparaiso, Trevecca Nazarene, Chattanooga and Samford. The Bruins have otherwise fallen to Furman, Tarleton State, Illinois State, Lipscomb and Middle Tennessee. 

In their Wednesday game versus Samford, Belmont was up 38-26 by halftime. The Bruins scored another 41 points in the second half and won it 79-56. Both Cade Tyson and Keishawn Davidson scored 14 points apiece. 

PICK: I’ll probably stay with Belmont. This should be a pretty good game, though. The Bruins are playing well over their last nine outings, going 7-2 in that stretch. Belmont has also scored well in that time with 66 or more points in every outing. As for Bradley, they’re also on a nice run; 6-1 over the last seven games. The Braves have scored 68 or more points in just four of those seven games, however. Still, I like Bradley to put up a nice effort here in a close Belmont cover. Should be a fun one to watch.
