The Grambling State Tigers and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats meet Monday in college basketball action from Moore Gym. Grambling State is fresh off a Saturday matchup versus Florida A&M. The Tigers ended up winning by 14 points. As for Bethune-Cookman, they played Southern U over the weekend. The Wildcats would go on to win by seven points there. Grambling State Tigers
Grambling State posted a 12-7 run over their first 19 games of the year. The Tigers hit a 6-1 stretch in the next seven featuring wins over Jackson State, Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Texas Southern, Prairie View A&M and Southern U.

I’ll probably stick with Grambling State. The Tigers have been very consistent scoring-wise lately; they’ve hit between 66 and 69 points in five straight games, winning all of them. Grambling State has won six straight overall and nine of their last 10 games in total. Back on January 7 the last time these teams played, the Tigers powered out a 76-70 win at Fredrick C. Hodby Assembly Center. Bethune-Cookman has won consecutive games and may be a little trouble at home, but I still think Grambling State ultimately takes the cover.
