The LSU Tigers and the Boston College Eagles meet Wednesday in college basketball action from Conte Forum. Here’s a Boston College vs LSU prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Boston College vs LSU pick.

LSU Tigers Betting Preview

The Tigers have been on a great run so far this year; they’ve gone without a blemish on the card. LSU opened up with a win over Tarleton State, then took out New Orleans and Florida International in the next pair. LSU would then get past Alcorn State and Omaha before another win over Drake. The Tigers would then dispatch DePaul in a blowout last weekend, giving the team a nice 7-0 run so far in the season.

Back on Saturday versus DePaul, the Tigers jumped out to a 50-22 lead by the break. LSU cruised on a 46-41 second half and took the easy win 96-63 in the end. Topping the scorers was Pablo Tamba with 14 points and seven rebounds. Three different players posted 13 points apiece in the victory, including Mike Nwoko with six rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.

Boston College Eagles Betting Preview

Over on the Boston College side, they’ve had mixed results this year and sit at .500 overall so far. The Eagles kicked things off with a 3-2 run, beating the Citadel, Temple and Hampton amid losses to Florida Atlantic and Central Connecticut. Since then it’s been a pair of consecutive losses to Davidson and Tulane ahead of a win over Harvard. In total that gives the Eagles a 4-4 run across their first eight games this season.

Boston College was up by eight points on Harvard in their last game back on November 26. The Eagles hit a 35-30 run in the second half, resulting in a 73-60 win. Leading the team was Fred Payne with 17 points, three rebounds and two assists. Jayden Hastings had 10 points and four boards, while Boden Kapke had 10 points with six rebounds and two assists in the winning effort for the Eagles.

Boston College vs LSU Prediction

I’ll probably just stay with LSU here. The Tigers are coming off another dominant win over DePaul, shooting a cool 68.6 percent from the field and 80.8 percent (21-of-26 from the line). LSU held a 34-17 advantage in rebounding alongside 22 team assists but did cough up 15 turnovers in the blowout win. The Tigers are scoring great this year; they’ve hit 71 or more points in every game with 93 or more in six of seven outings.

As for Boston College, they got a much-needed win last week over Harvard. The Eagles hit 44.1 percent from the field and 9-of-10 from the line in that one along with 31 rebounds and just seven turnovers. Boston College does have a few scoring duds on the card this year; they’ve been below 64 points in three of the last six games.
