The Oakland Golden Grizzlies and the Bowling Green Falcons meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Stroh Center. Oakland sits at 7-2 so far. The Grizzlies took out IUPUI in their last appearance. As for Bowling Green, they’re 4-4 on the season and coming off a win over Duquesne. Oakland started off slow this year with a 2-2 run that featured losses to West Virginia and Alabama. Since then the Grizzlies have won five straight games over Vermont, Rice, Delaware, UIC and IUPUI to move to 7-2 on the year.
In the IUPUI game, Oakland didn’t have many issues. The Grizzlies were up 36-20 at halftime and posted a 42-25 run from there in a 78-45 blowout win. Jalen Moore led the way on 15 points with six assists in 33 minutes of work.
Over on the Bowling Green side, they went 1-3 in their first four this year, losing to Western Carolina, Ohio State and Norfolk State. The Falcons are 3-1 since then with wins over Milwaukee, Chicago State and Duquesne.
In the Duquesne matchup back on Wednesday, Bowling Green was down 38-32 at the break. The Falcons surged 46-32 from there in a 78-70 comeback victory. Joe Reece doubled up in that one on 15 points and 12 boards.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on Bowling Green in this one. The Falcons played it pretty loose initially during their last game versus Duquesne, but eventually pulled it off to get their record back to .500 on the year. Bowling Green has scored 73 or more points in each of the last five games.
As for Oakland, they’ve hit 76 or more points in each of their last four, so this one should be a fairly high-scoring affair. I like the Falcons to get in there on a cover/win in an entertaining matchup.
