Bowling Green Falcons Betting Preview

Over on the Bowling Green side, they had a bad stretch of games in February. The Falcons went on a 1-5 run with a lone loss to Toledo mixed in. In the next trio, Bowling Green would take out Western Michigan, Ball State and Central Michigan before a loss to Kent State.

Back on Friday versus Kent State, the Falcons trailed by six points in the locker room. Bowling Green didn’t end up getting any closer than that on a 39-32 run, eventually falling 73-60. Marcus Hill was the leading team scorer on his 22 points, six rebounds and two assists.

I’ll probably lean toward Bowling Green. The Falcons need a good bounce-back effort after a listless matchup versus a middling Kent State team, though. Bowling Green shot just 37.7 percent from the field in that one and got out-rebounded 33-29. The good news is that the Falcons were good from the line at 16-of-17 (94.1 percent) and had just nine turnovers.

As for Fort Wayne, they should be able to follow right along here if they’re playing well. The Mastodons scored just 65 points in their latest game, but prior to that they’d hit 78 or more in six straight outings. This one has the makings of a high-scoring affair if both teams are on point. Should be an entertaining matchup.
