The Evansville Aces and the Bradley Braves meet in college basketball action from the Carver Arena on Wednesday night.

The Evansville Aces will look to bounce back after a 60-59 loss to Drake in their last game. Shamar Givance leads the Aces in scoring and assists with 14.6 PPG and 3.9 APG while Jawaun Newton has 14.3 PPG with a team-high 6 RPG to lead the Aces on the glass and to make up the other half of the pair of double-digit scorers for Evansville up to this point in the season. As a team, Evansville is averaging 61.5 PPG on 40.6% shooting from the field, 32.3% from three and 68.3% from the foul line while allowing 66.6 PPG on 47.1% shooting from the field and 38.6% from three this season.

The Bradley Braves will try to snap a three-game losing streak after a 78-71 loss at the hands of Loyola-Chicago last time out. Terry Roberts leads the Braves in scoring and assists with 15.3 PPG and 4 APG while Ja’Shon Henry has 11.2 PPG with 5.2 RPG and Malevy Leons has 11 PPG with 5.9 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Bradley so far this season. Rienk Mast also leads the Braves in rebounding with 8.9 PPG along with a team-high 7.6 RPG this season. As a team, Bradley is averaging 71.8 PPG on 44.1% shooting from the field, 34.1% from three and 64.8% from the foul line while allowing 67.9 PPG on 40.2% shooting from the field and 33.2% from three this season.

Evansville is 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games as a road underdog and 3-17-1 ATS in their last 21 Wednesday games while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 road games. Bradley is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games as a favorite while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 games overall.

I get why you’d look at Evansville and the points here as this feels like a lot of points to be giving up with Bradley. However, I don’t know if there’s enough points I could get to back Evansville on the road here. The Aces have had a lot of issues offensively this season and it just makes the Aces hard to trust to keep pace. I think that Bradley keeps Evansville in it early, but the Braves pull away over the course of the second half to get themselves a double-digit win here.
