Cal Poly vs Cal State-Northridge 2/10/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The CSU Northridge Matadors will travel to the Robert A. Mott Athletics Center to take on the Cal Poly Mustangs this Thursday night in College Basketball action.

CSU Northridge trailed by a 31-24 margin at halftime and could not fight all the way back after the UC Irvine took a 48-34 lead with 12:33 left in regulation. CSU Northridge shot 47.4% from the field & 30.8% from beyond the arc while allowing UC Irvine to shoot 51.0% from the field & 36.4% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Matadors was Elijah Hardy who had 17 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, & 4 steals.

On the season, CSU Northridge is averaging 61.3 ppg on 39.7% shooting from the field. The Matadors are averaging 4.7 three-pointers on 28.6% shooting from beyond the arc. Cal Poly struggled with turnovers against Long Beach State and could not fight back after the Beach took a 66-56 lead with 4:50 left in regulation. Cal Poly shot 40.4% from the field & 28.6% from beyond the arc while allowing Long Beach State to shoot 29.2% from the field & 28.0% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Mustangs was Kobe Sanders who had 22 points, 3 rebounds, & 2 assists.

On the season, Cal Poly is averaging 60.5 ppg on 40.3% shooting from the field. The Mustangs are averaging 5.1 three-pointers per game on 29.9% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Cal Poly has been led by Alimamy Koroma (13.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg), Camren Pierce (8.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.8 apg), Trevon Taylor (8.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.2 apg), & Kobe Sanders (6.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.9 apg).
