Colorado State vs Fresno State 2/11/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Fresno State Bulldogs and the Colorado State Rams meet Friday in college basketball action from Moby Arena. Fresno State is 16-7 so far this year. The Bulldogs lost to Wyoming in their last game. Fresno State hit a 10-4 run to start the year, then took a postponement break from December 28 to January 11. The Bulldogs have hit a 6-3 stretch in their last nine. The losses in that time have come to Nevada, Boise State and Wyoming.

In the Wyoming matchup back on Sunday, the Bulldogs were outscored 24-28 in the first half. Fresno State scored 35 points in the second but it wasn’t enough in a 61-59 loss. Isaiah Hill led the team with 25 points, four rebounds and two assists. 

Over on the Colorado State side, they lost just one of their first 17 games to San Diego State on January 8. The Rams would lose consecutive outings to UNLV and Wyoming, but they’ve since bounced back with wins over San Diego State and Nevada. 

Matched up against Nevada on Tuesday, the Rams hit a 36-31 run by halftime and finished off with a 46-41 stretch in an 82-72 victory. David Roddy led the team with 29 points and eight boards. Kendle Moore chipped in 22 points with four rebounds as well. 

Colorado State is 1-5 ATS in their last six at home and 4-20-2 ATS in the last 26 Friday games. The under is 10-4 in the Rams’ last 14 overall. 

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Fresno State is 5-0-1 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss. 

PICK: I’m going to stay with Colorado State here. The Rams took a couple of tough losses back in late January but they’ve since righted the ship with a revenge win over San Diego State and a double-digit victory over Nevada. Colorado State has scored 73 or more points in eight of their last nine outings. 

As for Fresno State, they’ve been very competitive over this 6-3 streak but the offensive output has been choppy. If Colorado State can hit the 70-point mark in this one I think they’ll be fine keeping the Bulldogs away on a cover.
