Oregon State hasn’t had much luck in the win column this year to say the least. The Beavers managed an opener win over Portland State and a pair of wins over Nicholls and Utah in their first 13 games. Oregon State was riding a five-game losing streak heading into Thursday.

In the Thursday game versus Utah, the Beavers were outscored 33-46 in the first half and 26-38 in the second for an 84-59 blowout loss. Both Roman Silva and Jarod Lucas scored 12 points apiece with 10 combined rebounds.

Over on the Colorado side, they carried a pretty strong 12-4 record through their first 16 games. The Buffaloes hit a 1-4 run after that however, falling to USC, UCLA, Washington and Washington State (with a road win over Oregon mixed in).

In the rematch against Oregon on Thursday, the Buffaloes held strong in the first half but were outscored 16-30 from there in a 66-51 loss. Keeshawn Barthelemy posted 16 points, and Jabari Walker doubled with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The Buffaloes are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 2-9-2 ATS in their last 13 at home. Colorado is 1-4-1 ATS in the last six Saturday games.

Meanwhile, the Beavers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four overall. Oregon State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four Saturday games.

PICK: I’m going to try Colorado, but probably not going near this one. There’s not much to get excited about here. That said, it should be a competitive game. Colorado hasn’t scored more than 58 points in any of their last three, and Oregon State has been below 60 in their last two games. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a higher-scoring game here, though. Ultimately I think Colorado can pull off the cover but I’m staying away.
